Schulthess Garden Prize 2009

The Schulthess Garden Prize honours exceptional and exemplary achievements in garden culture.

The directorate of the Swiss Heritage Society – seconded by a consultative commission of experts – has decided to award the renowned Prize 2009 to the two von Salis family gardens in Bergell (Graubünden): namely the Casa Battista garden in Soglio and the Palazzo Salis garden in Bondo. The Prize honours the commitment in caring for and rejuvenating the gardens in Bondo and Soglio. Measures for the maintenance and care of your garden as a living monument in conjunction with gentle innovation complement one another ideally, to create a new harmony.

The prize shall be presented in a festive setting in Soglio and Bondo, in August.
